Some of the tales are somewhat strong (i.e. a dragon, slaying a monster centipede, cutting a sparrows tongue out etc.). Not all stories have happy, Hollywood endings - illustrating that there are consequences to choices. Please, be aware of this especially for children under 6 - although most children should be able to handle it with no problems.

Children are not the only ones who will enjoy this - adults will probably enjoy it even more. Especially those of us tired of the same formulaic, unimaginative garbage we usually encounter. The stories are told by different characters and "narrators" including a "Jamaican" and several unusual characters. If you remember Fractured Fairy Tales and Mel Brooks you will have an idea of the spirit of this audiobook: the stories and values are respected, but we want to have fun in learning and experiencing them.
