| How to buy InfoFount audiobooks
Our titles are sold primarily via on-line book sellers (www.Amazon.com), ebay, local, and specialty resellers, and on-line via MP3 (available at Sony Connect and Napster soon and other distribution partners - link coming). You can also purchase directly. We take pride in helping our customers achieve their goals. Don't hesitate to call we are here to advise and serve you. We are available 9-6 Hawaiian time ( 2-9 Pacific or 2-11 Eastern) Monday through Saturday and most minor holidays. E-mail The suggested retail price for most audiobooks are generally 1 disk $12.99, 2-3 disks $16.99, 4 disks multiple title sets $22.99 some individual titles and sets may vary. Prices and ISBN information are being added currently and we anticipate a full listing of all our titles by June of 2006. Discounts are available for resellers (see reseller information)and often through or resale partners. If you desire to purchase multiple titles we may be able to discount your order. I would like to resell InfoFount titlesWe have a resale program. Discounts, marketing, materials and special packages are available for bona fide resellers. Please contact us for information. International OrdersGenerally most of our titles are available for shipment worldwide. We ship at cost ( usually $5-9 for Global Priority Mail ), but can not generally insure the shipment, and require prepayment. Do date all international orders have gone very well and all our international customers are very satisfied. Delivery is usually from 3-10 days from order. WHY BUY These audiobooks ?These audiobooks will help you ! Ever been inspired by a good friend, priest, teacher, mentor ? You will listen to, share, & enjoy these audiobooks time and time again. THESE ARE NOT COMPUTERIZED ROBOT READOUTS: They are real audiobooks with real actor/s and music. Each CD is an approximately 60-80 minute CDRs. They are made to standard CD Audio specifications. This means you can play it 99.9% of all CD players, car CDs, DVD players, and computer, virtually anywhere a standard CD plays. They come in a cardboard "mini-portfolio" or CD "slimline jewel case" with full track and time information for every Audiobook. Quantity discounts are available. About Synthetic Audiobooks - WE DON'T MAKE THEM ! There are computer generated "neutral" (translated = monotonous) robotic voice versions of some audiobooks listed on Ebay. They read a generic text file - usually uncorrected and with scanning errors. Not only do the robotic versions mispronounce many words they also spell out many words not in their electronic vocabulary. For example, almost every foreign word and many specialized vocabularies i.e. psychology, military, etc. Imagine how much fun you will have listening to a robot spelling words out for you. The vast majority of these synthetic audiobooks read out page numbers, some punctuation, and do not have the intelligence to slow down during complex material to enable you to digest it or to speed up on easier material so as not to belabor it and bore you. Also, most (I do not know of one yet actually) do not have any music or sound effects. Synthetic renderers do no intelligent editing of the text (for example footnotes, table of contents etc.) they often confuse you and place you out of context as they are suddenly read at the wrong time. Some of these synthetic audiobooks have more disks and may seem to have more content. Don't be fooled into thinking you are getting more material. Usually you get no material of any value and lots that is confusing and valueless. Our audiobooks with real actors are guaranteed not to give you a headache, not to spell out words they do not know, etc. You can make the simple comparison with Orange Juice. Real, Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice (our real audiobooks) versus Tang (synthetic audiobooks) - Which do you prefer? Besides being real, if you compare, you will see that our audiobooks really are the best value on the market. What good is it if you save a couple of dollars, but do understand and get the benefit from the audiobook? Special Requestsand other special services or needs.
